This loverly little Bistro is part of the Foreman Wolf circle of restaurants so our dear friend who works for Cinghiale got us brunch reservations for his beautiful girlfriend’s birthday with a prixe fixe menu! woohoo! Hubs and I LOVE going to Petit Louis. Closest restaurant with french cuisine and you get the most bang for your buck! (Especially with employee discount ;])

cute eh?

French Onion Soup
They are well-known for this soup,  however, there is about a pound of gruyere in this baby so if you’re dieting, stay away. A health conscious friend decided she didn’t want to eat the cheese and tried to spoon all of it out…it was never ending.

Louis Casse-Croutes
Too much bread. But nice and tender beef filet and not too strong horseradish mayo. Frites are always a good thing. =]

Oh hello you delicious thing you. Every year, our friend asks the pastry chef at Cinghiale to make a cake for his girlfriend’s birthday and every year it gets bigger and bigger and more delicious. There are two layers of hazelnut crispy-ness in this cake. I was definitely full from the meal but I still managed to finish this ginormous piece of cake. =D

*Note: if you ever go to Petit Louis on a regular day, GET THE TROUT AMANDINE. Changed my life.
