secrets are no fun unless I am a part of one!
I have found the secret to fast, and easy Kimchi Jjigae. O yes. Instead of sitting there and boiling for like 45 minutes…it takes me 10 minutes! woohoo!
Start boiling the dashima water by putting a piece of dried seaweed in water. Meanwhile, saute the kimchi, gochujang/hot pepper paste, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and meat (I used spam) on med-high heat for 5 minutes.
Add sauteed mixture to the boiling water, discard seaweed and boil for 5 minutes.
