Since it was Baltimore’s first Winter restaurant week, Jaebee and I decided to partake and go to the famous Football Coach Don Shula’s Steakhouse. Not as good as my favorite, Ruth Chris but definitely worth going to.
Jacob’s Creek Shiraz
remind me never to get cheap wine again…not worth it.
Crab Soup
Creamy and thick. It could have been a dip. Couldn’t finish this one because of the thick consistency. Don’t recommend this one.
Prime Rib
didn’t taste. Jaebee did stomach this one without his usual ketchup as steak sauce so I think it was ok.
NY Strip Steak
wonderfully seared and juicy. I enjoyed this immensely. I hadn’t had steak in a while and was pleased with this one. Loved the thick stalks of roasted asparagus as well. The mashed potatoes weren’t made right. They were a bit sticky.
Creme Brulee
MUCH better than the fiasco I had at Xanadu earlier in the day. still the sugar wasn’t crackly enough and it was a bit cold.
Cheesecake
loved the lemon flavor to this and the nice creamy consistency. A good end to a good meal.
